Overnight Care

Nights can be the most difficult time for some clients and their families, particularly during periods of illness or following a hospital admission.

Our Overnight Care service involves a support worker attending to your needs throughout the night. The shifts can either be active or inactive.

An active overnight shift is common for clients who experience disrupted sleep or require constant monitoring. It involves the support worker remaining awake all night for any needs required.

The primary purpose of an inactive overnight shift is to give the client the security of someone else in the house during the night. The support worker is expected to sleep and only get up once or twice during the night to assist you.
