Our Staff
At Omni-Care our staff will always be our biggest asset and we’re very proud of the outstanding job they provide every day. The growth in the number of clients who seek
our support is a testament to their abilities.
Our support workers attend your home and provide the day-to-day services needed to keep your life running smoothly. When we recruit we look for a particular combination of qualifications, life experience and personal attributes, and only the best will do.
Firstly Our staff boasts a common-sense approach and is capable of performing full home and personal-care services. What’s more, each staff member is referenced and police checked at the beginning of employment
Next we ensure their qualifications are up-to-date. All our support workers have a relevant Certificate III if not a higher qualification, or they are enrolled in an appropriate course when commencing with us.
Then comes the crucial part – training! While knowledge may be the backbone of a top support worker, an excellent bedside manner is the heart and soul of what we do. We also provide ongoing training as well as professional development opportunities.
Our clients encompass a wide range of nationalities, religious beliefs and cultures. We understand the difference it can make to a client’s wellbeing to have someone assisting them who speaks the same language and treats them with cultural sensitivity.
Currently, we have a number of multi-lingual support workers on our team who between them speak 55 different languages. Every Omni-Care support worker is also trained in culturally aware service provision.
We regularly review the way that we operate so we can deliver a better service to you. We encourage feedback from all our clients and representatives as we see that feedback provides Omni-Care with an opportunity to learn and continually improve service resulting in better outcomes for our clients
